October 1st Hong Kong Day of Prayer 2021

​I.   Event details

The Sixth Hong Kong Day of Prayer will be held on 1 October 2021. The event is suitable for all. In addition to the programme at the Noah's Ark, the main venue, there will be a large variety of activities at districts. Individual and group participation are welcome to jointly make an offering of pleasing aroma to God. Highlights

1. Main Venue — Noah's Ark, Ma Wan (free admission anytime; on-site registration)|Programme Schedule (Updated)

 

a. ​Date & Time: 1 October 2021 (Friday) 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

 

b. Contents

  • Worship and prayer sessions will be led by more than 10 teams, partnered with shofar team and worship dance teams. 

  • A Sending Ceremony will be held at the last evening session (8–10 p.m.). All, particularly young people, are invited to join this session. Join the "Praise Dance Workshop" at daytime and worship the Lord with dance together in the Sending Ceremony. 

  • In addition to praying for young people of all nations, there will be Pray4U Station, worship painting, copying of Bible scriptures, Bible reading in cave and family tabernacle (thematic prayer) on site. Suitable for all.

 

c. Transportation: Free shuttle bus services every 10–15 minutes at Exit C, Tsing Yi MTR station.

3. Mobile Prayer Altar|Registration Closed

a. Bus, boat and helicopter prayer parades — Participants will be contacted after registration. 

b. High place (mountain) prayer — Participants will be contacted after registration. 

c. Family altar — 2 or more people praying at home. Participants may choose to follow the prayer guidelines on the last day of the 40-day fast and pray at home. 

d. Small prayer group (in accordance with social distancing policy) — Choose a place (e.g. park, street) to proclaim Psalm 92 and bless the place in the name of Jesus Christ. Participants may also follow the prayer guidelines on the last day of the 40-day fast and pray together. 

e. Beach baptism — To be held at the designated beach. Baptism will be conducted by pastors of the participants' church, or arranged by the Organizer. Details will be sent to participating churches and participants. 

f. Synchronized prayer at church — Set aside an hour from church activities and focus on praying for the city, or watch YouTube live and pray together. 

g. Fervent Bible reading (27 September – 1 October) — Participants will be contacted after registration. 

h. 40 days of fasting prayer (22 August – 30 September) Weekly Prayer ​— Participants may decide their own way of fasting. Participants pray according to the weekly prayer on the webpage and are encouraged to send the prayer information to cell groups, brothers and sisters and invite them to join together.

5. Citywide Proclamation of Psalm 92 — 6 p.m. anywhere

 

6. Prayer Venues at Districts — For the convenience of brothers and sisters living nearby, prayer venues at districts will also be set up.
