I. Introduction

To prepare for “October 1st Hong Kong Day of Prayer” and prayer in unity, you are cordially invited to join 40 days of fasting and prayer (22/8-30/9/2025). You may choose your own way of fasting (e.g. vegetarian diet, liquid diet, fasting for 1 or 2 meals) and regularly set aside some time to pray extensively in a quiet place according to weekly prayers. Through the 40 days of fasting and prayer, let us enter an amazing prayer journey to understand God’s will and work with God! (I) Daily Prayer Directions:
Five Key Prayers
1. Pray for the Nation – Pray for the revival of your own nation and the revival of other nations.
2. Pray for the Family – Pray for the salvation of your family and for the revival of your family.
3. Pray for Children and Youth – Pray for other children and youth, and for the problems of children and youth in your own city.

(II) Prayer this week 26/9-30/9
1. Proclamation. 📖 Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before. The threshing floors will be filled with grain; the vats will overflow with new wine and oil. (Joel 2 : 23-24) 📖 In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Acts 2:17-21) 2. Prayer A. Government 📖 They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water. (Isaiah 49:10) 🙏 Pray that government departments will open up more new economic development programmes for Hong Kong with the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, and that more jobs and wealth will be created so that the Hong Kong economy can recover and the poverty problem can be alleviated. 🙏 Pray that government departments will be able to help young people with creativity and ambition, and that they will have the strength to explore and promote innovation in a variety of areas, creating more economic infrastructure development goals. B. Church 📖 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (Isaiah 43:18-19) 🙏 Many churches are restraining themselves from advancing or they are suffering from complacency. They are old garments and old bottles. But behold! God is doing a new thing. The Spirit of the Lord will consume His Church with His holy fire, igniting and awakening brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep to rise up, worship, and pray ...... to raise up the armies of the Kingdom of God. I pray that the Lord will enable brothers and sisters to open up the closed pipelines/channels, walk with the Lord, so that they would be saved from this untoward generation. Most importantly, they would continue stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship in Christ, with gladness and singleness of heart, with one accord in the body of Christ. We pray that God raise up more powerful warriors to enter their destiny in Christ and become the elite soldiers of the Kingdom of God. C. Society and Livelihood 📖 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him. (Psalm 22:27) 📖 Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord. They will proclaim his righteousness, declaring to a people yet unborn: He has done it! (Psalm 22:30-31) 🙏 Pray for the Lord to heal and restore all brokenness/ afflictred (parents, marriages, children, corruption, adultery, gambling addictions, drug addictions .......) Families, let the living waters of God's love be poured out in them, so that they will become restored, love our Lord, bear the Cross and follow Him.
(III) Praying for nations
⭐Syria Lanka 1. May the Holy Spirit descend upon Sri Lanka, bringing revival throughout the land. 2. May the influence of idolatry and witchcraft be broken. May alcoholism, suicide, violence, and slavery be resolved. 3. May poverty, child labor, child marriage, and child abuse be addressed. (12% of children are forced to marry before the age of 18.) 4. May the physical, mental, and spiritual wounds of the people after the civil war be healed. May peace prevail and political strife cease. 5. May the Lord grant resources to manifest His glory in these challenging times, especially in the face of national economic difficulties caused by bankruptcy. 6. May Sri Lankan church leaders and youth be raised up, and may believers grow in faith and spiritual growth in the Lord during these challenging times.
⭐Israel 1. That the Holy Spirit upon Israel, bringing revival throughout the land. 2. That God-given peace prevail throughout Jerusalem. 3. That Jews and Arabs in Israel be reconciled and souls saved. 4. That more and more Jews will believe that Jesus is the Messiah. 5. Pray for children who suffer from poverty and are victims of cultural, racial, and religious conflict. 6. Pray for the younger generation, that the Lord may arise and enable them to encounter Jesus Christ.
🙏Serbia Economy: 1. Local residents have very low incomes. It's understood that a local doctor earns only around 13,000 yuan a month, yet prices are rising. As a result, some locals are considering relocating to more affluent Western European countries. Pray that Heavenly Father will protect the local economy, ensuring that residents have sufficient income to meet their daily expenses. 2. Low incomes have also impacted church offerings, forcing many pastors to work part-time or even accept financial assistance from other organizations to make ends meet. We are grateful for the faithfulness of these pastors, and pray that Heavenly Father will fully provide for their needs.
⭐Hong Kong 1. Pray that the Holy Spirit descend upon Hong Kong, bringing revival to the land. 2. Pray that complete peace be restored in Hong Kong, and that the righteousness and healing of God's Kingdom be brought here. 3. Pray for Christian schools, hospitals, and community organizations, so that they can serve and reach more people. 4. Pray that the next generation will be raised up to become teachers, leaders, pastors, and prophets for the nation. 5. Pray that the issue of child abuse will be addressed, and that the Lord will grant the church the wisdom and response to adapt. 6. Pray that young people pursuing worldly pleasures will turn to Him, so that worldly values will no longer hold them captive. Blessings Hong Kong - Prayer Requests 1. Pray that the Holy Spirit descend upon Hong Kong, bringing revival to the land. 2. Pray that complete peace be restored in Hong Kong, and that the righteousness and healing of God's Kingdom be brought here. 3. 🙏China 1. Pray for the healthy growth and education of China's youth. 2. Pray for the clean and honest dissemination of information online in China. 3. Pray for those who practice totem worship and popular idol worship, that they may turn back to the true God.
🙏Croatia Politics: 1. The Yugoslav War of the 1990s created ethnic hatred with neighboring countries, which continues to be resented by them. Pray that the people of all nations will put aside their hatred and treat each other with love. 2. Violent anti-government demonstrations have recently taken place in the region. Pray that the Father will resolve this conflict, grant local officials a love for God and people, and wisdom in governance, and grant the people a heart of obedience.
🙏Taiwan 1. Pray for the pastors and leaders of Taiwan's churches, asking God to humble them and use their resources to bless God's kingdom. 2. Pray for the relationships of pastors and leaders in Taiwan, asking them to heal wounded and broken relationships, forgive, be renewed, and become vessels of holiness. 3. Pray for all churches in Taiwan, asking them to truly surrender to Christ, walk together, and become one. 4. Pray for the Lord's mercy on churches that have lost their influence in business, media, education, the arts, and families. Forgive us for our unwillingness to bravely step forward and help us truly enter the world as salt and light, living out the life and influence of Jesus Christ. 5. Pray for the churches in Taiwan that have lost their first love. Pray that they will truly obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit, be led by Him, and courageously preach the gospel of the Kingdom, fulfilling the Great Commission entrusted by the Lord Jesus. Pray that God will ignite the first love of the churches in Taiwan, grant us the Holy Spirit to fill us daily, and use us to be witnesses that glorify Jesus and respond to the Father's call.
🙏the UAE: 1. Pray that God would intervene in the UAE's gold trade, preventing it from becoming a channel for money laundering and improving the conditions of those suffering there. 2. Pray that God would inspire the people of the UAE to understand the gospel and long for God's Kingdom. Pray that foreign Christians living there would have opportunities to share the gospel, making the UAE a light and blessing to the region. 3. Pray that the government would expedite the revision of gold trade regulations to prevent money laundering and prevent the gold market from becoming a hotbed of crime. 4. Pray that God would redress the injustices and suffering of those who have been wronged. Pray that God would comfort the families of persecuted people in the UAE and Africa, help them overcome their pain, and guide them toward peace. 5. Pray for the salvation of souls in the UAE. Pray that God would touch their hearts and inspire them to pursue the Kingdom of God. Pray that God would send workers to the UAE to sow the seeds of the Gospel in longing hearts. 6. Pray for the few local Christians in the UAE, that they would be strong and courageous to share the Gospel with their families and friends. Pray that God would grant opportunities for foreign Christians living in the UAE to share the Gospel with locals. National Blessing and Spiritual Transformation
🙏America 1. Pray for Leaders: Pray that the President, Vice President, all candidates, and their teams receive God's protection and have the wisdom to make sound decisions. 2. Pray for the Future of the Nation: Pray that God will guide the nation on the path of righteousness and uphold His will in the face of challenges. 3. Pray for Social Justice: Address the issue of poverty in society and ask God for wisdom and grace to address it so that justice can be achieved in the nation. 4. Pray for the Election: Encourage voters to pray before voting, vote according to God's will, and trust that God is in control regardless of the outcome of the election. 5. Pray for Bills: Pray that God will prevent bills that are not in line with His will and guide the people to choose a path that is in line with His will.
🙏Indonesia 1. The situation in Indonesia has been tense due to demonstrations by students and various groups. This could lead to a worsening political situation in Indonesia and potentially fatal consequences, with casualties potentially escalating the political climate. 2. Please pray that the Indonesian nation will be safer and free from further casualties.
🙏Canada 1. Pray that people will lose their sense of right and wrong after the legalization of abortion, homosexuality, assisted suicide, and marijuana, preventing them from becoming even more reckless. 2. Pray that the younger generation will be able to embrace the truth and the church. 3. Pray that believers will thirst for biblical teachings and be willing to bear witness to Jesus Christ in their lives, encouraging and building up believers and fostering a passion for missionary work. 4. Pray for believers in the media, that they will be courageous in producing objective, unbiased, and accurate reporting.
🙏Australia 1. Pray that God would grant Australia's leaders divine wisdom, enabling them to act justly, show mercy, and maintain humility, governing the country according to God's will. 2. Pray for the election results and the future direction of the nation. May God's will be manifested in Australia, and may truth be incorporated into all political platforms. 3. Pray for Australia's environment. May God grant leaders wisdom and power to improve the polluted environment. 4. Pray that God would restore the dignity and beauty of Australia's Indigenous peoples as children of creation, turning their mourning into dancing. 5. May God raise up Indigenous peoples so that they can know God, sing praises to Him, and become His glorious witnesses in the world.
🙏Singapore 1. Pray that the Lord will raise up more intercessors for the national government and policies to align with God's will. 2. Pray that the Lord will raise up missionaries to serve and evangelize the world. 3. Pray that the Lord will ignite the fire of revival in Singapore, so that the church on earth will be connected and united. 4. Pray that young people in Singapore will be lifted up into ministry and enter a season of revival. 5. Pray that Singaporeans will be humble and obedient to God, generously donate, and willingly help the poor.
🙏🙏Cambodia 🙏🏻Pray that the Lord Jesus have mercy on the suffering people and heal and comfort their pain. The conflict between Thailand and Cambodia that broke out in July has already resulted in approximately 40 deaths. 🙏🏻Pray that the Lord Jesus raise up messengers of peace to resolve the animosity between the two countries. Although the Cambodian governor has urged the public to avoid conflict with the Thai side, anger erupted during another standoff with Thai troops on September 4th. 🙏🏻Pray that the Lord Jesus grant the Thai and Cambodian prime ministers and leaders wisdom and strategic counsel, putting the people first and choosing dialogue to resolve long-standing differences. Pray that they can work together to combat and dismantle fraud and human trafficking rings (which illegally work not only children but also women and men). 🙏🏻Pray that the Lord Jesus will raise up leaders filled with righteousness and uprightness, and that the word of truth will reign in this country, courageously confronting corruption. 🙏🏻Pray that the Lord Jesus will watch over the lives of the Cambodian people, especially the orphans and widows, saving them from poverty and hardship and enabling them to live secure and stable lives. 🙏🏻Pray that the Lord Jesus bless the Cambodian church, so that it may be the light and salt of your heart, serving as messengers of peace, spreading the good news of the gospel, bringing healing, comfort, and hope to more people, and allowing them to know Christ. 🗝️13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)
🙏 Russia 1. Russia launched the initial attack on Ukraine, and reports indicate it has occupied four locations along the Ukrainian border. According to news reports, the Russo-Ukrainian war has lasted over three years, with approximately one million casualties on both sides. Yet, President Putin remains unwilling to cease hostilities or admit guilt. 2. Pray that God's justice and mercy will descend, covering the sins and removing the destructive forces. May the Russo-Ukrainian war end quickly. 3. Pray that the Lord will thwart the schemes of the dark powers of Russia and prevent the outbreak of World War III. 4. Orthodox Christianity is the primary religion in Russia, followed by Islam. Pray for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Russian people, bringing unprecedented revival and a great harvest of souls. 5. Pray that the Russian church will be given complete freedom to preach the gospel amidst its difficult circumstances, and that more people will be raised up to engage in missionary work.
🙏India 1. Pray for women's freedom: religious freedom, freedom of marriage, freedom of work, and freedom of dress. 2. Pray for women's safety. Pray that the government legislate to protect women's personal safety and establish severe penalties for sexual assaults against women. 3. Pray for women's status to be elevated, ensuring equality and equal treatment for both sexes. 4. Pray for the government to provide free education from preschool to primary school, increasing people's knowledge and job opportunities. 5. Pray for religious freedom to be granted, protecting local Christians and churches from attacks and destruction. 6. Pray that Indians confess their sins, repent, and turn to Jesus, turning away from evil. Pray that more people will believe in Jesus, and that India will experience a great revival.
🙏Japan 1. Pray for Japan's newly appointed Prime Minister, blessing him with visions and dreams, enabling him to believe in the Lord Jesus, make decisions that align with God's will, and establish harmonious relations with other nations. 2. Confess the sin of 98% of Japanese people who worship Shintoism. Pray that God will release the precious blood of Jesus to cleanse the land and hearts. 3. Japan has suffered many disasters in the past two years. Pray for God's mercy and grace. Pray that the glory of Jesus will shine in the hearts of the Japanese people, leading them to repent and turn to Christ. 4. Pray that God will send angels to fight for Japan, freeing its young people from the virtual world's hold on them, including hallucinations, depression, sexual immorality, and suicide. 5. Pray that God will grant the Japanese wisdom and discernment, turning their hearts toward the true God and understanding the Creator and the truth of the Bible. 6. Pray that Japan will enter a season of great spiritual harvest in late 2025 and 2026, allowing the gospel to take root and grow in Japan.
🙏Madagascar According to Waldmeit’s interpretation of the latest United Nations data, as of Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the current population of Madagascar is 32,878,437, which accounts for 0.40% of the world’s total population. About 60% or more of the population are Christians, including Catholics and Protestants. About 30% follow traditional Malagasy religions. A small portion practices Islam. Many Malagasy villages have never heard the gospel of Jesus’ love and forgiveness. There are about 40,000 Malagasy Muslims, along with other minorities like Chinese and Indians, who have not heard the gospel. Most ethnic groups are unreached peoples, such as the Shemirt tribe with about 550,000 people. According to World Bank estimates, over 70% of Malagasy people live on less than $1 a day. Many areas in Madagascar are currently facing food shortages. 🗝️ He has shown you, Madagascar, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8 NKJV). 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, raise up leaders of developing countries to govern with justice and mercy, seek truth and wisdom, and help people escape poverty and improve livelihoods. In past large churches, revival movements appeared; may Your Holy Spirit continue to work within them, rooting them deeply in Your truth (God’s Word), so they become witnesses of Jesus Christ and exert positive influence. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, may Your true light shine into the darkness of people’s hearts. Let them be set free from folk beliefs, ancestor worship, and witchcraft, and break all bonds of dark powers, so their spirits may be free. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, please grant the spirit of unity to all churches, so that churches and leaders may be united in heart and work together to advance the Gospel. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, have mercy on the unreached minority peoples who have never heard the Gospel. Send out Your workers and prepare Your Word so they may come to know the Good News.
🙏Nepal Nepal’s ban on social media platforms (including Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, and 26 not registered with the government) sparked protests by young Gen Z people. After 22 died and over 100 were injured, the government withdrew the social media ban on Tuesday (9th), and three ministers resigned. But this didn’t calm public anger. Protesters ignored curfew yesterday, continued marching, and set fire to homes of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the Interior Minister, and other officials, as well as the parliament building. KP Sharma Oli , resigned from his post, hoping to resolve the current crisis. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, bless government officials to care for the people with a spirit of justice and integrity. Let truth govern this nation, bringing political stability, honesty, justice, mercy, and wisdom. May the government lead the people out of severe economic hardship and improve their lives. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, please reveal all the hidden conspiracies behind the extremists. Open their eyes and hearts, that they may turn away from their mistakes and accept You, Lord Jesus Christ. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, please forgive Nepal’s polytheism (108 types of Guanyin, 108 types of Tara, dozens of Manjushri bodhisattvas, and 108 to 1008 names of major non-Buddhist deities, with more than a dozen statues). May Your true light shine on them and through their environment, let them truly know You and understand the Gospel. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, please protect the church so it is safeguarded by the constitution, and at the same time, may the government govern effectively. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, please protect the believers to keep their faith and unity amid growing hostility and anti-Christian attitudes from Hindu nationalists. Bless the church to be Your witnesses and a channel of blessing. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, please open the way for complete religious freedom 🗝️“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7 NKJV)

🙏Myanmar Myanmar is a vibrant and ethnically diverse country, home to over 100 different ethnic groups. It shares borders with Thailand, Laos, Bangladesh, China, and India. As early as the 3rd century BCE, Myanmar became one of the first Southeast Asian countries to adopt Buddhism, and the earliest Christian witness there dates back about 400 years. Although the church developed slowly at first, Myanmar now has over three million Christians (about 6% of the total population), and most Christians come from ethnic minorities. 🗝️He has shown you, Myanmar, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8 NKJV) 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, please destroy the scam bases in the Apollo area of Myanmar, the Golden Triangle area of Laos, and other hidden camps. May those who were deceived be found and safely return home healthy. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, please protect the Rohingya, Kayin, Shan, Kachin, and other minorities facing increasing violent attacks in their regions. May these groups have opportunities to hear the Gospel. Also, please soften the hearts of violent leaders to repent and turn to goodness. 🙏🏻Lord Jesus, bless the church to walk in holiness and light, full of the spirit of discernment. Save the believers from danger, temptation, and snares.

Week1 - 22/8-28/8 A. Government 📖 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, (1 Timothy 2:1-3) 🙏Bless the Chief Executive and the government team of the three Secretaries of Departments and the 15 Bureaux for their wisdom, insight, discretion, and ability to serve the people of Hong Kong with all their heart and soul, and for their ability to discern the urgency of the people and to think in the way they think. B. Church 📖 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. (John 17:21-23) 🙏We pray that the church to be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind, to advance the gospel, and the kingdom of God. C. Society and Livelihood 📖Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (Matthew 9:35-36) 🙏Bless government officials with God’s wisdom, discretion, knowledge and that the Lord would give them grace to apply their heart to understanding. We pray they would seek to understand the predicament of the grass-roots residents, consider the cause of the poor, take societal needs into account in serving the community and have the management ability to address the grassroots, to implement a variety of policies for the benefit of the people, carry out poverty alleviation work, and alleviate economic distress of the general public. 📖 願全地都敬畏耶和華，願世上的居民都懼怕他。因為他說有，就有；命立，就立。(詩篇 33:8-9) 📖 耶和華啊，我曾求告你，求你快快臨到我這裡！ 我求告你的時候，願你留心聽我的聲音！ 願我的禱告如香陳列在你面前！ 願我舉手祈求，如獻晚祭！(詩篇141:1-2) A. 政府 📖 我勸你第一要為萬人懇求、禱告、代求、祝謝．為君王和一切在位的也該如此．使我們可以敬虔端正、平安無事的度日。這是好的、在 神我們救主面前可蒙悅納。(提前2:1-3) 🙏祝福特首政府團隊，有聰明智慧，洞察能力，急市民所急，想市民所想的，盡心服務香港市民。 B. 教會 📖 使他們都合而為一．正如你父在我裡面、我在你裡面．使他們也在我們裡面、叫世人可以信你差了我來。你所賜給我的榮耀、我已賜給他們、使他們合而為一、像我們合而為一。我在他們裡面、你在我裡面、使他們完完全全的合而為一．叫世人知道你差了我來、也知道你愛他們如同愛我一樣。(約17:21-23) 🙏祝福教會，合而為一，同心合意，興旺福音，擴展神國。 C. 社會民生 📖 耶穌走遍各城各鄉，在會堂裏教訓人，宣講天國的福音，又醫治各樣的病症。他看見許多的人，就憐憫他們，因為他們困苦流離，如同羊沒有牧人一般。(馬太福音 9:35-36) 🙏祝福政府官員，有從神而來的智慧和管理能力，體察基層市民之困苦，落實不同惠民政策，緩解他們生活及經濟窘困及壓力。 「你們要為耶路撒冷求平安：願愛你的人興旺！」(詩122:6)
Week2 - 29/8-4/9 1. Proclamation. 📖 For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. (Psalm 86:10-12) 📖 May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. Then all nations will be blessed through him,[a] and they will call him blessed. Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Government 📖 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” (Revelation 7:10-12) 🙏 Pray that the government officials in office will have good solutions to various social problems, listen more to public opinion, and solve housing, economic and medical problems. B. Church 📖 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. (Romans 14:19) 🙏 Pray that in one accord, with the same mind and the same spirit, the body of Christ will become doer of the word, ravishing God's heart. We also pray that God go forth and raise Christ-like leaders with humility, gentleness, patience etc, We pray that these leaders would have supernatural passion from the Lord to build up His church with a good shepherd and a father’s heart, that brothers and sisters willingly obey their leaders in truth, mindful of their instructions, and cooperate with the pastor's leadership. Give all the glory to the Lord , that the LORD would take pleasure in His people and people would honor the church as they are abundantly satisfied with the fatness of His house. C. Family 📖 And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart: (1 Kings 8:23) 🙏 Pray Pray that in this ever-changing world, believers will be able to focus their hopes and rely solely on God, and that they will have the wisdom to lead their families and families to recognize God as a covenant-keeping and loving God. Pray that the Lord will bless families and families to trust in Jesus for generations to come, and that Christ will become the solid rock and eternal foundation of their families and families.
Week4 - 11/9 - 18/9 1. Proclamation. 📖 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his[a]; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 100:1-5) 📖 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. (1 John 3:1) 2. Prayer A. Government 📖 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Timothy 2:1-2) 🙏 Pray for the reconciliation of the reigning government officials in China and Hong Kong with God. Pray that they have the grace to seek the knowledge of God, and they would be capable of receiving the Gospel and that they will be touched by God’s love. Pray that His faithful servant will bear witness to testify for Jesus before them. Let understanding put forth her voice. Let their mouth speaks the truth. 🙏 Pray for the Holy Spirit that He will reveal to them to convict them of their sins, so that they might be willing to confess their sins before God and be set free in truth. Pray especially that those corrupt and unsaved leaders might seek God's forgiveness; that they live a pure and godly lives. Give them grace to decree justice. Lead them in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment. Let them believe on You, Lord. B. Church 📖 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5) 🙏 O Lord! Your church is a House of prayer. We pray that they would consecrate themselves, set aside regular daily prayer times, and maintain a intimate relationship with You; and that the members of the congregation will pray to You daily, in season or out of season ; as the vine and its branches are joined together, so is the relationship between the church and the Lord Jesus. Let the church become daily Your delight. Let Your church shine as your bride. 🙏 O Lord! Make it known to the churches, brothers and sisters, that they cannot live by themselves, and If a man abide not in Christ, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, 🙏 O Lord! Have mercy upon all the churches, all the members, with humble hearts, to seek your face earnestly; and to revive and restore us. We know that Your delights are with the sons of men. You rejoice in the habitable parts of the world. So, give us grace to hearken unto Your voice, watch daily at Your gates, waiting at the posts of Your doors, Lord!.
Week5 - 19/9 - 25/9 1. Proclamation. 📖“Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations. Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” (Rev. 15:3-4) 📖Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere him. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. (Psalm 33:8-9) 📖 I call to you, Lord, come quickly to me; hear me when I call to you. May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice. (Psalm 141:1-2) 3. Prayer A. Government 📖 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, (1 Timothy 2:1-3) 🙏Bless the government team for their wisdom, insight, discretion, and ability to serve the people of Hong Kong with all their heart and soul, and for their ability to discern the urgency of the people and to think in the way they think. B. Church 📖 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. (John 17:21-23) 🙏We pray that the church to be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind, to advance the gospel, and the kingdom of God. C. Society and Livelihood 📖Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (Matthew 9:35-36) 🙏Bless government officials with God’s wisdom, discretion, knowledge and that the Lord would give them grace to apply their heart to understanding. We pray they would seek to understand the predicament of the grass-roots residents, consider the cause of the poor, take societal needs into account in serving the community and have the management ability to address the grassroots, to implement a variety of policies for the benefit of the people, carry out poverty alleviation work, and alleviate economic distress of the general public.
